Remember when we talked with figure skating mental coach Rebekah Dixon? The mental coach who was working with the great Meagan Duhamel? Well, now we’re talking with Meagan herself!
Canadian pairs figure skater and 3x Olympic medalist Meagan Duhamel joins us on this episode to talk about her Olympic experiences. Partnering with Eric Radford, the pair won a silver in the Mixed Team competition and placed 7th in Mixed Pairs at Sochi 2014. They returned at PyeongChang 2018 to win bronze in the Mixed Pairs and gold in the Mixed Team competition.
Duhamel and Radford have a history of pushing the boundaries during Olympic competition: At Sochi they were the first pair to land a side-by-side triple Lutz, and at PyeongChang they were the first team to complete a quadruple throw jump, as Meagan landed a throw quadruple Salchow during the Pairs free skate.
