We are in Milano, Italy, ready to cover the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games for you!
We’ll be traveling around the region to go to events and see the sights. If you’re watching the Games from the couch, following along with Keep the Flame Alive is the most fun way to experience them! As fans, we know the kinds of things fellow fans care about, so we’re going to pack our content with the stuff you really want to know from Milano Cortina — and just how complex it will be to get around the region to cover these Olympics.

Daily podcasts start February 4
Our daily podcasts are essential listening. They will cover all of the results, our impression of what’s happening in the Olympic venues, and what we’re experiencing on the ground. This may include previous Games segments toilet talk (although we hope not) and the Magical Hour of Vacuuming and other floor maintenance sightings.
We start daily episodes on February 4, which is when actual competition kicks off with the start of curling and the mixed doubles tournament, and they’ll run through the Closing Ceremony on February 22. Tune in for all of the excitement and our probable mishaps as we negotiate Milano Cortina!
We’ll record near or at the end of the competition day and post the episodes as soon as we can after we finish recording.
Daily newsletters start February 4
Along with our podcast, we post a daily newsletter on Substack that will share fun things and photos from around the Games, as well as feature our daily mascots! Not all of this content will be available on other platforms, so you’ll want to sign up (it’s free) to not miss a thing!
